With the temps being in the 33-34C range again yesterday, I decided to keep myself busy in the cool house.....doing housework....ha ha ha....NOT!!!
A DVD from the thrift store on the Yukon Quest & some Christmas fabric cutting ~ perfect.
Then a little chain piecing of the 9 patches and one very, very nastily sewn lady of the lake - soon to be unpicked and done properly. I actually have a few to redo - thanks to not checking my 1/4 " seam allowance. All it takes is to be off by a thread or two and it adds up to
WONKY BLOCK! And sadly, I knew it....lazy, lazy, lazy me!
And finally, the thunderstorm that came with 'warnings' completely missed up but did present some lovely cloud formations.
